Error Message 400 Bad Request

Hi:
I received the subject error, but saw the downloaded premium web layout was "successfully" downloaded. However, when I uploaded to Wordpress, I noticed the content was missing. To make a long story short, I saw that the aforementioned download did not contain the content. I went back to your website and on my account I attempted to download the web layout again through your web library. But, unlike the first time, I was only able to "Preview" them. There were no "Details" button, so am I locked out because I'm limited to just one webpage?
I liked the service layout I selected but I need all of the content so I can do minimal editing. I hope you can explain why I cannot re-download that particular file or any other file.
Please do not call me as I'm deaf. The best way to communicate with me is via a reply.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Michael Novak
Hi there,
Couple of questions:
1. Do you have any plugins already installed on your site ?
If so can you disable those plugins first.
2. Does your server have any Caching ( Your host should be able to confirm ) - if so this needs to be disabled.
If you can check both those and then retry importing the Site from the Library.
If theres still an issue then provide us with temporary Admin Login to your WP install and we'll take a look.
Disabled my plug-ins and also disabled Caching on A2 (my host server). I'm still unable to re-download the same Service layout (but also with content) from the Website Library, let alone select it for download.
Thank you,
Michael Novak
Hi Michael,
Our latest development version of GP Premium (2.0.0-alpha.3) has a completely new Site Library that was built to prevent issues like this.
Any chance you can give it a shot?: https://generatepress.com/introducing-the-gp-theme-builder/
I'm still having a lot of problems. The latest error message I received is:
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Can you please fix this? I need the website up and running so I can begin editing the layout I selected from your website.
Hi there,
1. Make sure your Theme is set to the free GeneratePress from the repository.
2. Download the plugin .zip file that is linked in the document Tom provide ( ie. in your Account > Downloads )
3. Go to plugins and delete the current GP Premium plugin - then install new plugin, and upload the .zip file you downloaded and activate that.
4. Then go to Appearance > GeneratePress and enable the Site Library Module. Then retry installing the site you want.
