Error in Appearance > Widgets

do you have any widgets in any of the widget areas ? And are you using the WP 5.8 Block Widgets ?

No, I don't think this website had any widgets in the widgets area.

Now, when I go to Appearance > Widgets > All I see is the error message (so I cannot see if there are any widgets)

I am using WordPress 5.8.1, which I'm guessing comes with the WP 5.8 Block Widgets by default?

Unfortunately, I can't because of GDPR. Sorry.

What I needed to create was a Top Bar. And I realized that by going to Appearance > Customize > Widgets > I could create a Top Bar. So that's what I did.

Not the best solution because I still can't access the Widgets area itself, but it works for now. Not sure if GP is causing the issue, maybe it's some other plugin... hopefully the release of future updates will fix this.
