Error display post author blog

Hi,
I would like the author not to appear in the blog entries, in the customizer I have removed the display of the author but it is still shown.
Is this a customizer error?
Do I have to add anything in CSS like this?
.entry-meta {
display: none;
}

Hi there,
the Bold Site uses a Hook Element to add the author meta to the Sidebar.
In Appearance > Elements - Quick Edit the hook titled: Single Post Sidebar and change its status to draft.
