Error 400 on importing Dev (Site library)

Hello.

Firstly, I'm excited to see the potential of your service as so far it seems very fast.

However, I've run into one small issue.

I have a clean build of Wordpress running on AWS Lightsail and built using the SpinupWP service.

I tried "Dev" and "Zeal" from the Site Library with the same error.

After finishing with the plug in installs, it says "Downloading Content" then "Installing Content".

It then gets stuck there for a while, and then shows a message just above the importing dialog that says "400 error [?]"

In the sales material it said that this site said "We take support very seriously" and "World class support" so I'm keen to find out how we go with this.

Thanks!
Matt.

Thanks.

Hi there,

a 400 error is generally a server permissions issue.
Can you make sure any cache / optimization plugins / CDN / Cloudflare are all disabled. Then try to import again. Let us know.

Hello. There are no plug ins as it’s a fresh install, other than the SpinupWP plugin (which is disabled).

Is there a directory that I can check permissions on the back end?

Thanks. M

Do you have a server side cache or CDN running ?

I have just your standard Nginx built in cache and Redis.

I turned both of them off, and I'm not getting a new error:

The new error is:

504 error [?]

I'm kind of stumped at this point. Have other clients had success with Nginx and Redis or SpinupWP servers?

Thanks!
M

Actually, its getting late, and I need to get things moving.

Lets do the money-back-guarantee refund thing. Thanks for trying anyway, but I think my needs may be too niche for what you guys are trying to do.

Thanks guys, perhaps I'll be back in the future!

Hi there,

I've just issued your refund.

Thanks for trying GP! :)
