[Resolved] Eliminate render-blocking resources: https://fonts.googleapis.com…

Hello, I get a suggestion from both GTmetrix and Google page speed for “https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Catamaran:100,200,300,regular,500,600,700,800,900” render-blocking resources issue. I am currently using a Inter Font through Google Font plugin. I would like to know how I can resolve this.

Hi there,

Can you check on Appearance > Customize > Typography and check all the areas if any of them use Catamaran?

If so, you can change it to system stack so it doesn’t request for google fonts if you don’t use it.

Thank you. I just assumed using google font plugin would overwrite the typography.

Hi, I checked mine but all is using Open Sans and Inherit. I changed all Inherit to System Stack but still has the same problem.

Did I do something wrong? Sorry, newbie in these stuffs.
