Elements header & Elementor template, merging issue.

Hi, I am having issues with the merge setting whilst using an elementor template shortcode.

I have set a header up as an element a few times with successful merging, but whilst using the elementor shortcode within the header it fails to merge or at least appears to.

The header is showing and if I adjust the entry content I can force it in place as a temporary fix but then the content is over the header which I couldn't fix with z-index I tried to bodge it but I think it's time to ask for help.

Do you know what might be causing this?

Not seeing anything obvious that might be causing the issue.

Where are you adding the Elementor shortcode?

Sorry, the shortcode is in the hero section.

Hi there,

It looks like you're adding the header/navigation inside the page hero.

Instead, you should add that shortcode into the "before_header_content" hook using a Hook Element.

Then keep the Page Hero content empty when creating your Header Element with the merged header.
