    Hi Tom,

Love elements by the way. Just had an idea that you might find interesting. I was restructuring my site and thought of this.

What if an element could be displayed if it is, or is not, a child of a specified page?

In my scenario, I have a “Tokyo City Guide” where the content is essentially all nested under that page. Pages nested within pages.

I could use elements to load specific content into the guide that should be repeated across the nested pages.

Just an idea that might be an easy win for you GeneratePress.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Is the second example what you are looking for?

Yea, I think that would work… but I was just passing this along as it would be awesome if it were selections in the display rules for elements. 🙂

    Thanks.

    No problem 🙂

We will likely keep complicated display rules like that using the filter method.
