    Hi,
I have trouble activating any of the prebuilt sites that use Elementor as a builder (like Mentor, Digital Creative, etc.)
The import process always gets stuck during the activation of the plugins.
Any idea what the reason for this is?
    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Just to confirm, this issue doesn’t exist when you import a site without Elementor?

    Let me know 🙂

Correct. I did that cross-check, and everytime I try to activate a site without a page builder (I haven’t tried Beaver yet), it works fine.

Hmm haven’t heard this issue before.

Is this a fresh install? Can you make sure all other plugins and server/hosting cache is turned off during the importing process?

    Let me know 🙂

It is a fresh install. But just to make sure it’s all clean, I deleteded the GP Premium plugin and the GP theme, before reinstalling it all. Still, I have the same problem: I can’t use prebuilt sites that use the Elementor builder (Beaver works I found out; and of course all the sites without any of these two builders).
How do I turn off the server/hosting cache?
Any idea what else I could try out?

You can ask the hosting provider for any settings or toggle related to this.

    For things to try:

You can try pre-installing Elementor plugin and then try to import prebuilt sites w/ Elementor.

I did a full new wordpress installation on the website, install and activate the Elementor (Free) Plugin, and then add GP as well as GP Premium, and now it works.
Since I had not built the site yet, that was an option. Hopefully this glitch is not going to happen when I have created content.

Creating posts/content is another thing on it own and its server. There shouldn’t be any GP Premium site importation issue related to that as it’s purely WordPress core function. 😀
