    Robert, Samuel –

Perhaps check out a tutorial I put together that expands upon what Tom has mentioned about incorporating the GP menu with a shortcode.

    Cheers!

Lyle’s short code method, or better still a pure GP menu is the way to go IMO. I have managed to get the Elementor Nav inside the header and keep the search and sticky functionality, it only took 5 minutes to make it work and then another hour tweaking the Elementor Nav to behave itself. So scrapped it and when back to styling GP Menus which took far less time and had none of the Elementor issues.

Tom, I am embarrassed to ask this, but I must: where does this code go? Should I use the plugin that is described in the “How to add PHP” article that is linked in the sidebar on this page?

The code in my post should be added one of these methods: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-php/

The underline code in the documentation should be added using one of these methods: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/

    Hope this helps 🙂

Lyle, Thank you for an outstanding tutorial. Not only does it provide a nice solution, but I also learned new things about GP and Elementor. Keep those videos coming! — Sam
