Elementor Blog Format Not Showing Correctly

Hi there. I'm using Elementor to design my post, but when I view it after publishing, the image formatting is different. This happens whether I use a GP template or an Anywhere Elementor template.

What is getting lost in translation?

Argh! I always hit the "submit" button just a little too soon.
I figured out that if I use the Image Gallery instead of throwing images into columns, the formatting works out.
Just wondering if that was the right way to go, or if there was some other solution that I could use instead?
