Element behaving differently on different pages

Hi team,
I have an CTA element before my footer and after my content and its great on some pages and not others. I want it to stretch 100% width and on some pages it does this and others it only fills the inner container.
Examples:
Home page CTA before footer is good.
404 page is bad.
Its as if the element is being rendered within the main container instead of out of it?
Any ideas or suggestions please?

Hi there,
couple of choices:
1. change the Element hook to: before_footer this should place it in a full width part of the page.
2. set the 404 Page to Full Width using a Layout Element, and then build your own 404 page using a Block Element - Content Template.
