I’m having hard time with the edits that I save. For example, I create a CTA button with the text and border in black and it saves in white. I put a small picture of myself in the About section and when I save and preview, the picture is huge. I’m not sure why it’s doing this but it’s happening on several pages.

    Hi Cindy,

This might be a third party conflict issue. As a first course of debugging, can you try #1 here?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

It would be good to take a backup of your site before doing so.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

I deactivated and reactivated my plugins and it didn’t help. I also cleared my cache. The article is not clear on how to turn on WP Debug. It’s confusing.

I’m not getting a white screen. I activated TwentySeventeen and it adjusted my entire theme and didn’t resolve the issue.

I have no idea where to check my error log.

Is there anyone that I can call to walk through this?

In Tools > Site Health, can you check if there are any issues/warnings?

Also, in the info tab, can you check the PHP memory limit? If it’s anything lower than 256mb, can you try increasing it?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/increasing-php-memory-limit/

Sorry, our support only includes support through this forum.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

There are no issues in the Site Health section. The PHP memory limit is 512M.

To activate WP_DEBUG, you’ll need to access your FTP. You may ask assistance from your hosting provider with regards to this. Here’s an article that might help as well: https://www.pipeten.com/support/applications/enabling-wp-debug-in-wordpress/

Can you also right click and inspect while editing a page, then go to console, and click update? Check if any error will appear upon updating. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuXLxkv

Can you also check if you have CDN or server side(ask your hosting provider as well with regards to this) cache? Kindly clear them if so.

Lastly, since the issue exists even when using different themes, perhaps you can reach out to your hosting provider as well if they have an insight with regards to this?
