Editor Styles - GP and GB

Hi Guys,
I'm just playing around with the latest Beta of GP premium and GB Pro.
I am trying to work out the best way to define global styles and fonts to hand off to an admin, but just wanted to see if you had any recommendations.
I can see that with the new typography interface in customizer, I can add a class to an element and have the typography applied in the front-end. This is awesome but it doesn't apply the styles in the editor.
I was also having a look at the global styles feature of GB pro. Again awesome, but these styles also dont apply in the editor (typography and colors), and I also found that the (eg. H4) color that I defined in the customizer was overriding the local (eg. H4.a) style that I was defining in the global Styles interface.
Just wondering if what I have mentioned above is the expected behaviour or I might have an issue somewhere, and also wondering if you have any recommendations about the best way to use these options to make it a consistant experience for admin users?
Thanks
Hi Matt,
I believe you have to be using the latest beta version of GB as well for the global styles to work with it. https://generateblocks.com/generateblocks-1-4-0/
Both bets (GP Premium + GB) are needed in order for the integration to work.
Hi Elvin,
Yes I am using both.
Hi Guys,
Just following up on my post. I have the latest GB and GP installed.
I have defined a global style on a GP header block but the colors are not coming through to the front-end. More specifically the color var(--black) is being referenced in the stylesheet, but not being applied to the text.
I have provided a link below.
Thanks
Hi Matt,
It seems to be working on my end: https://www.screencast.com/t/oioVo6DlGypo

This should definitely be working as well as long as the local block you're adding the global style to doesn't have those options set. Local options will override global style options.
Let me know :)
