Stuart
Hi, new to GeneratePress and relatively so WordPress.
I’ve installed the Scribe template but can’t find the homepage anywhere in the backend to be able to edit text/blocks etc. Only thing I’ve been able to find is the intro.
Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
ok so first off the Home Page on scribe is set to Display the Latests posts. ( For reference that is set in Dashboard > Settings > Reading ).
This means it will only show the latest posts and the page cannot be directly edited like as if it were a static home page.
So questions – which parts do you want to edit or add to ?

Thanks for the reply. So I’m stuck with that exact layout and can’t add or remove blocks?

To follow up, one of the things I’d love to do is add a newsletter subscription box above the fold e.g. https://thehustle.co

StaffCustomer SupportThe top section here is created with a block element page hero named Home Page Intro:
https://www.screencast.com/t/RzaYiTJPhYou can edit it in Dashboard > Appearance Elements and add in the newsletter subscription box:

Thank you. If I want to add a new block do I pile it into one of the existing blocks or is there an option to add and order them?

StaffCustomer SupportSince the home page is the posts/blog page and cannot be edited like a static page as David mentioned above, any extra content would need to be added using a hook:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-hook/
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-visual-guide/#posts-pageThat is how the newsletter section is added at the bottom of the home page:

Thanks for your patient help, I appreciate it. I’ll give it all a go and let you know how I get on.
