    I’m using the Zeal template. I’m having a hard time editing the archive page to display the blog excerpts. It seems as if no settings edit the page. Under Customize -> Colors, nothing changes the page.

    I’m using GeneratePress and Elementor. I’m fairly new to both. How do I edit the archive page for layout, background color, etc?

    Thank You
    Chris

    Hi there,

    The archive page should inherit the setting for the main posts page.

    Can you link me to the specific page in question?

    You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.

    Hi Leo,

    I updated the original post with the link.

    The Zeal template defaults to a black background. I want to change it to a white background for future blog posts. Under Customize -> Colors -> body -> Background is changed to white.

    The change took effect because one of the sections on the home page is whited out. “Blog-test” is the post feed. The background is black and the header color changes from my custom color to black. Clicking on an individual post shows a white background and the correct header color.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you!
    Chris

    This CSS is added:

    .blog {
        background-color: #323232;
    }

    Check the Additional CSS in the customizer.

    That did the trick! Thank you.
