It seems you're using WooCommerce. Are you using both WooCommerce and EDD?

I'm not seeing the function in your child theme either.

Yes the plugin and code are inside the website.

So I'm seeing the "0 items" link in the navigation now, so that's working.

Now to remove the cart icon, you can:

a) Disable the icon in Customize > Layout > WooCommerce
b) Disable WooCommerce, as I don't suggest using WooCommerce and EDD on the same site.

I have applied the proposed hook and it works perfectly, but I would like to put the menu item cart(n) at the end primary menu of it and not at the beginning.
How can I do that?
