[Support request] E-Com Store with blog or blog with store

I have purchased a domain and planning on starting a site and a store. I plan to write content on the site and a shop/store on /shop or /store URL. I have gp premium and I am new to e-com. what would be the right way to approach it should I create a store on main site and a /blog category for content or the other way around? and for the shop which plugins do I need apart from gp premium?

Hi there,

To add a store to your site you will need the Woocommerce Plugin.
Or if you’re selling only digital products then you may want to use Easy Digital Downloads.

Those plugins will create the necessary shop/store permalink structure eg. my-site.com/shop so there is no need to have separate subfolder installs of WordPress ( one for content and one for shop ) unless you see a specific benefit of doing so.
A good server is required for Woocommerce and/or EDD however so you should factor that in when building your site.
