Andrea
I’m sure this is an easy fix / setting but I’ve been looking and cannot figure this out. I am missing two options from the Headline element including Dynamic fields and text color. I looked in a few other sites I have where the Dynamic Fields option displays correctly on the Headline block element but I cannot find anything in preferences or anywhere else that toggles it off/on. I disabled every plugin except GP Premium and GB Pro and still not working. Thanks in advance.

StaffCustomer SupportHi Andrea,
I tested on your site, and the headline block is working properly with dynamic data and colors option avalible:
https://www.screencast.com/t/cxrJzqrVdLr0Make sure you are using the headline block from GB with a blue icon not the heading block of WP with a black icon.

In my other sites, the dynamic content shows in the floating options, I don’t have to navigate to the sidebar. The primary issue I have is that in my other sites I can add “Learn more about [page title]” or something like that in the headline block. With the sidebar, I don’t have the ability to add text before the dynamic content in the headline. How can I get the dynamic content and text color options to display in the floating options? I am using the GB blue headline block.

This floating option only appears if the block is in GP’s block elements, not in the page editor or post editor, you can have a try 🙂

I have many other sites that this is working, and I’ve always used the page editor with the floating option in the Headline block to insert Dynamic Content after something like, “I’d like to make an appt with [Post Title]”. I have other sites with call to actions with this exact same setup, and I use the Dynamic Content in the floating option. See another URL in private info.

This is very weird, as I’m sure the floating options would NOT appear unless the block is inside a GP element.
“Learn more about [page title]”
And this is not the dynamic function from GP, as GP doesn’t have this kind of shortcode
[page title]. Are you using any custom functions or plugins to achieve this?November 15, 2022 at 5:12 pm #2417326Andrea
No, it’s not a shortcode – I just put that in there to designate the page title, I shouldn’t have used brackets. The page I shared is simply a Generateblocks Headline element with dynamic content inserted after it. So strange, no custom functions or plugins that I recall.

StaffCustomer SupportHum…that’s very strange as the user interface is not from GB or GP.
If you disable all other plugins except GB, will that option still be available?

Ok I found it. I have a plugin on my older sites that incorporates the features in the floating options. Very interesting because it’s using the blue GP blocks Headline element. Maybe an enhancement for Generateblocks? It’s so useful. Anyway, thank you for helping me troubleshoot this, sorry it took so long to get to the resolution.
