Dynamic Button - Remove Text?

Aloha Team!
I've created a set of dynamic buttons.
The button TEXT gets pulled from a custom Post Meta field ... works beautifully!
The button LINK gets pulled from a custom Post Meta field ... works beautifully!
I wanted to see what the buttons looked like without TEXT, so I clicked the 'Remove Text' option.
TEXT disappears in Edit view ... but on the front end, is still there.
I kinda got to work by adding a blank <space> in the custom TEXT field, but that feels a little hacky :)
Do you have a recommended way of making an icon-only button with a link from a custom field?

Try removing the content source. Leave it as “select”.

Is there a reason why dynamic options are available in both the sidebar and above a selected G-Block?
Better said ... can I use either to get the job done?

The Dynamic Data in the Block settings of GenerateBlocks is a new feature. See here: https://generateblocks.com/generateblocks-1-5-dynamic-data-query-loops-image-blocks/
The previous one was only available if you use the GB block in an Element. The new dynamic feature allows you to add dynamic data anywhere, so you can add it directly inside posts for instance.
They can both get the job done although, the older dynamic data feature allows you to add a “Before text” for Headline block.
