dropdown-menu-toggle displays as a square instead of a dropdown arrow

My website is https://kimn.ca/ The menu dropdown indicators show as a square instead of an arrow.

I have deactivated all plugins, removed all of my added CSS, functions.php and header.php. Then I changed themes to Twenty-Twenty-one and the dropdown shows as + and -.

I have been reading about GeneratePress and FontAwesome so I installed Better Font Awesome plugin, but still no change.

Can you please give me some direction to fix this.

Can you try switching the icon type from Font to SVG?
