Hi Chad,

The Pages widget doesn't allow for dropdown menus.

However, you can use the Secondary Nav add-on and place it in the sidebar.

I have way too many pages to display in the primary or secondary locations. Can you expand on how I can get a dropdown menu in a widget using the Secondary Nav add-on by placing it in the sidebar?

Hi Chad,

First you'll have to create a new menu in "Appearance > Menus": http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide

Then go to "Appearance > Customize > Set Navigation" and set the secondary nav to your newly created menu (Secondary Navigation add-on must be enabled).

Now go to the "Secondary Navigation" section of the Customizer, and set the position to your sidebar.

That should do it :)
