Not a techy, so I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. But my main navigation bar won’t give me a drop-down menu when I hover over a category, even though that’s what I chose in appearance>layout>primary navigation>navigation dropdown.

Can you check the structure of the menu in question on Dashboard > Appearance > Menu?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/Dropdowns menu items appear for menus with submenus. If your menu is not structured to have submenus, it won’t show any dropdown items.
I thought so, but I’m confused, can’t figure out how to get the different levels of menus all in one box so that I can then drag the hierarchy into place. Am trying to find it in the gp site without bothering you, but haven’t found it yet.

Prim.Nav. items are currently categories, which I dragged into the list of menu items and submenu items, setting them in line, and I thought I had it. But still no drop-down.
That’s what I did and where I did it. Is it because the prim.nav. bar has categories on it, not menus? It’s the categories I want the drop-down to fall from.
Are you still not seeing a dropdown on any of your menu items?
On my end, some of your menu items now have dropdown submenu items.
