[Support request] Doubt about Using our hide-on-* classes

Hi,

Imagine that I am making one section for desktop and a different version for mobile. When using generatepress hide-on-* classes to handle what to show on each device, what will happen in terms of content loading?

Will it load the 2 versions of the section in each device and hide the one that I’ve set?

Or will only load one version according to each device?

Hi there,

elements hidden with CSS are still loaded in the browser. So yes, it will load both of your desktop and mobile versions and hide the relevant one.

Although you can use the hide-on-* classes for anything, I wouldn’t recommend them for hiding that make large requests particularly on a mobile device.
