Double dates showing on my blog posts

My blog is suddenly showing both the published date and the update date on blog posts, when it was previously showing only the publish date. How can I make the updates not show, please?

By default the updated date shouldn't show unless you are using this:

If you aren't using that, any other custom functions?
Can you disable your caching plugin so I can take a closer look at the code?
Nope, I don't use that snippet of code. The caching is disabled, thanks for taking a look!
I hard cleared my browser cache but definitely still seeing some sort of cache.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium and activate the parent theme (if you are using a child theme) to test first?
Both the free theme and premium plugin haven't been updated in the last while and code definitely doesn't change itself.
I can't do that on the live site, but will do it on a dev site tomorrow morning. Thanks!

Is there a display:none kind of tweak to the code that can be made to hide the updated date slug as a faster solution?
I think this is due to the Siteground Optimizer plugin you're using. Does the issue go away if you disable it?
