Do I need to reinstall after renewing?

I have just completed my annual renewal of GP Premium, and as the confirmation email contained links to install the plugin and theme, it's not clear if I need to do this or do I just do nothing since they're already installed and presumably I'll continue to get updates as normal? Would appreciate any help.

Assuming you're already using the latest version of GP Premium, then there shouldn't be any need to reinstall it. :)
As for automatic updates, it's a bit unreliable so it's best practice to check things manually on https://generatepress.com/account and check your site's currently installed GP Premium if the latest version matches. You then do an overwrite installation using the newer version if the version isn't matching. :D
