[Resolved] Display read more as button – doesn’t appear

On my blog posts page, the manual excerpt appears but the Read more button has disappeared. I went to Customize-Layout-Blog, and I have checked the ‘Display read more as button’. Why doesn’t it appear?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I saw that article before. I tried adding the snippets in the Additional CSS. And it didn’t work.

Could you please let me know where I should add the snippets?
