[Support request] Display dynamic content from custom post types/custom fields

Just a quick question. Do you plan on supporting custom post types/custom fields with the dynamic content options? seems to be kind of working but not as complete as would be amazing 😉

In particular im quite fond of metabox.io and would love some kind of integration (that would already be possible with elementor).

Do you know the meta-box plugin? From my user centric view, you seem to have a similiar philosophy regarding wordpress. With meta-box focussing on information structure like custom posts, custom fields, taxonomies, …

Is it possible to create a integration between GP, BG and the meta-box plugin, like they already offer with elementor? And how would this work?

Hi there,

i am not sure what Elementor does to integrate with Metabox. But if you’re using Metabox to save meta / custom fields then you would be able to use those within the GP Dynamic Data – you just simply need to add the meta key for the dynamic data.

I, along with Philipp & thousands of others, just bought a lifetime unlimited license to Meta Box during the Appsumo deal. (Brilliant move on their part to increase adoption of their custom post type solution.)

My coding skills are complete novice so any integrations you all make to make their use an easier process will be much appreciated.

Can we also call up this dynamic data with GB? I just watched this video on how to create blocks using MB.

With those just display as block options in GP/GB automatically?

Hi Stephen,

GPP 2.0 Block Elements and the dynamic data is ‘limited’ to Hooking dynamic block built content into the theme.
In GB Pro we will be introducing the dynamic data options for blocks you add within your post content – they will also compliment and extend the GPP 2.0 Block Element function.

This keeps a clear line between adding ‘something’ to theme and a user adding to the posts content.

So not today – but for certain in the future.
