Display Current User Name

Hello there,

I believed that I am using the latest version of GP. My question is how to place the current user on the top bar section navigation? I'm running my theme and Wordpress locally. I'm new to this support forum and no idea how to do it or manipulate it inside the code. Can you help? Many thanks!

Hi there,

Unfortunately I'm not sure what you mean?

There isn't any current user added in top bar section navigation by default.

Can you duplicate the setting on a live server? It will be much easier for us to help.

Hello Leo. Thanks for quick respond. Sorry but I don't have live server setup as of the moment.

Sorry for the confusion. What I meant is, when my user logged in, I want their username to be displayed in the top bar area. Like "Welcome, <username> or "You're currently logged in as: <Username>"

Is there a way here to paste or upload a snapshot of my local site?

Ahh I believe you are talking about the admin bar from WordPress.

Unfortunately GP doesn't have any control on that.
