Display Category Description on Category Pages

Hello guys,
I would like to add content on the category pages.
I have been browsing into the settings of the theme and on this forum but I honestly do not understand any of the proposed solutions. I have not used Element, Hooks, or anything like that. Maybe I should?

The category description should display by default.
Can you link me to a category archive with posts published?
