Disabling Primary Nav Submenu Hover States

Hello,
I am looking to disable background hover states for the sub menu items in my main nav. I want them to be the same hover state as the main items in the nav where the text color changes on hover but the entire block does not highlight.

You can change the color of the sub menu-item states through Appearance > Customize > Colors > Primary Navigation:
