Disable the featured images globally

Hi
I use Elementor and in my pages or posts sections are set to use the feature image as background.
I would like to disable the featured images globally and not page per page.

Hi there,

Customiser > Layout > Blog - Featured images - note there are three buttons for Archives, Posts and Pages you will need to uncheck all three.

I am trying to do the same, but when I am in Customiser > Layout > Blog, then there is only content type, not featured image... has it been moved?

Hi there,

go to Appearance > GeneratePress and enable the Blog Module.
Those settings will now be available.
