Disable elements not working

None of my Disable elements are working. I tick the box, and update the page but the bad fairies change it back!

One thing I noticed is that "preview" will not show the changes I make with "disable elements," same with sidebars, etc. When I publish or update, however, the functions are excluded as they should be. I don't know if the program is supposed to do this, but I thought I would mention it here in case someone else is having this issue. Old thread but I couldn't find a newer one.

Also I can't find a "template" option in "quick edit." I either can't find it or Wordpress doesn't have it anymore.

Hi David. Yes, I did previously have another template. Now I'm running the premium version of GeneratePress on a child theme.

Are you referring to the customizer preview or page editor?

Any chance you can open a new topic for the question so it's easier for us track the issue?
