Disable Elements not working on posts

Disable Elements is not working on my posts. I've seen the fix for quick edit on pages, setting the template to default, but there's no such option on posts. Is there a fix for this?

Hi Jason,
When you select an element to disable and save your post, does the selection disappear? Or does it stay selected?
They stay selected.
Can you link me to a post where elements are selected to be hidden but aren't?
I think I figured it out- when a category is selected and multiple posts are showing, it does not disable any elements. I could of sworn it wasn't working regardless yesterday, but it's working fine now. Thank you for your time.

Ah yea, in that case you would have to use CSS to hide those elements.
The Disable Elements add-on will only work on single pages and posts.
