Some admin users of a site that I work on cannot see the “disable elements” control in the sidebar (they need to hide the featured image). I’m able to see it, and I instructed them to look in preferences/panels. But the checkbox for Layout is not appearing there! (they send a screenshot to prove it). Why would the Layout box not appear for some users?

    Hi there,

Sounds like a user role access issue.

I believe this filter would help:

Same problem Leo, how to solve it in concrete? I would need a step-by-step explanation

Would you be able to share a temporary admin login so we can take a look?
If so, please raise a new topic, there you will have access to the Private Information field where you can share the login details.
