How to remove Copyright footer?
I don't want to use any kind of Copyright footer: default or my text.

Hi there,

You can put an empty span tag in the Copyright area in "Appearance > GeneratePres" like this:

<span></span>

Then add this CSS:

.site-info {
      display: none;
}

Let me know if you need more info :)

Your variant is working correct.
Thanks you )

You're welcome :)

HI guys I'm not sure what I'm missing but when I go to "Appearance > GeneratePres" it isn't really clear to me how to access the "copyright" area in order to put an empty span tag in there. All I get is the ability to activate or deactivate the copyright add on.

What am I missing?

Hi Aaron,

You can find the area to adjust the Copyright text in "Appearance > Customize" in the "Copyright" section.

Hope this helps :)

Hi,
I have also bought GP Premium and when I want to center the copyright text
with DIV or the old center tag it does not work...

It always shows up aligned to the left side...

But before I put something into the copyright or footer bar section,
the "Coypright 2017 Generatepress"
was Centered !
So how do I get my text centered there ?
Many thanks.
Regards, Stefan.

Your copyright will be centered as long as:

1. You add it into your Customize > Copyright area.
2. You have nothing in your footer bar widget.

If that's not working, a link to your site would help :)

Hi Tom, your recommendation using the empty span tags and CSS worked great at removing the copyright text, but it left a small empty bar at the very bottom of the page.

Is there anyway to remove that?

Can you link us to the page possibly? Thanks!

Sorry I'm new to this and I'm having a hard time following the conversation. I am using GP premium. I want to get rid of the default footer and design and use a custom footer that I create. I'm using elementor pro to do that. But first I need to get rid of what comes with GP. Can anyone tell me what procedure I can follow to do this?

Thanks!
