disable click to Woo product image

I found this post about making a Woo product page image not clickable, but the final code offered there now makes the product image disappear from the page:

I'm betting it's a Wordpress 6.1.1 or Woo 7.2.2 thing.
Any ideas? Thank you!
IGNORE -- the snippet works just fine. I mistakenly wasn't working with Generate Press!
