Zoe
I only use right sidebar.
Would it be possible to show different right sidebar on WooCommerce pages?

I can change sidebar layout with the code from – http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/choosing-sidebar-layouts/. Thanks for that.
Actually, I don’t want to change sidebar layout. I’d like to setup different sidebar on WooCommerce related pages.
I notice that there are “Right Sidebar” and “Left Sidebar” at Widget area.
Are there any ways to add extra sidebar for WooCommerce pages only?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperAh, you can show different widgets on different pages using a plugin – there’s a couple choices.
I’m personally using Jetpack for a few other things, so I enabled their Widget Visibility module – less plugins, and it works nice π
Otherwise, I would go with something like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets/
I prefer Jetpack, as it’s updated more frequently: http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/
Let me know if you have any questions π

Dear Tom,
From this thread, I now understand that when woocommerce plugin is installed on generatepress, no extra or different sidebars are created automatically for woocommerce related pages, unlike in some other themes.
I am OK with this as long as plugins like display widgets continue to work properly and continues to be regularly updatedRegards,

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThere will always be recently updated plugins like that.
The one I’m using currently is built into Jetpack and is called “Widget Visibility”.
