    Helllo,

I am trying to customise different pages on my website.

For the homepage, the container width with all the content is it is 1375px which is good for a homepage.

But for other pages, 1375px is too wide (e.g. article posts) and I want those pages to have e.g. 800px container width.

But when I change the container width on an article post, it also does it for the homepage as well.

Is there a way to edit container width for pages without affecting others?

Also: is there a way of having different sidebars for different pages? When I edit a sidebar on a page, it affects the sidebar on every page.

    Thank you

    William

    Hi there,

If you enable the Elements module in Appearance > GeneratePress then you can use a Layout > Element found in Appearance > Elements:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

Create a New Element > Layout.
On the Content Tab, just set the width value, and leave the content container as default.
Set the Display Rules to where you want to apply that change.

If you want multiple right or left sidebars then you need a plugin like this one:

    https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/

Whats different between each sidebar ? As its possible to use a Block Element to hook in different content at the top and bottom of each sidebar without a plugin.
