    Hi Tom

I saw a post from October last year where someone was asking if it’s possible to position the primary navigation in a different place on only the home page. Essentially, I would like it to float right on the home page, then appear below the header on all other pages. Your reply was that this would be possible in GP1.3.41, but you also posted some php to invoke a filter. I added this via code snippets, but can’t seem to get it to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

I think this is the post you are referring to?

Can you double check that you are using GP 1.3.41? The code Tom provided need to go with GP 1.3.41 in order to work.

I just tried the code in the post it works for me.

    Let me know.

Are you using a static home page or blog page as your home page?

You can find some examples of using the filter here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-location/

Thanks Leo and Tom – I just re-checked everything and it was a schoolboy error on my part. I’d done everything right, but had neglected to actually activate the code snippet….. more haste, less speed!
