Different logos on different pages with sticky nav
7 replies · Started by Martin on August 31, 2021
Hi
This is a follow up to a previous thread here
The site has two headers (main and secondary) with sticky nav and each has a transparent logo which changes on scroll. This was previously working but on the secondary header, the transparent logo is now the main logo but does change to the correct logo on scroll.
I can't see how to get the correct transparent logo on the secondary header?
There are two header elements to control this.
Many thanks
Martin
Hi Martin,
You have 2 Header elements on different pages.
The /dream-team/commercial-gutter-cleaning/ page uses "Dream Team Pages" header which has this for its logo

The home page uses "MBG Pages" header pages which uses this for its logo

If you want the dream team pages to have the same logos as the home page, you'll have to add the same logos for the sticky header on the "Dream team pages" header.
Hi Elvin
Thank you.
It is the Dream Team Pages header that isn't working correctly. It is not using the transparent logo and instead reverting to the transparent logo used in the MBG Pages header.

The fix on the previous thread did fix it but it appears to not now be working correctly.
Thanks again
Martin
Can you try temporarily disabling your functions that change the navigation logo? I have a feeling they're interferring at this point and may not be necessary.
Let me know :)
Hi Tom
From what I can see that doesn't resolve the issue. All pages just revert to the MBG Pages header pages.
Many thanks
Martin
The wrong logo (Dream-Team-Gutter-Cleaning-01.svg) is being added via this Code Snippet: Correct logo dream team pages
What if you change that URL to the correct logo?
All of this should be possible without any filters at all by using the default logos (Customizer) and the Header Element logos. However, if that's the case, updating the URL in that problem snippet should get rid of the wrong logo.
I have disabled the two code snippets (after previously changing the logo) but it hasn't solved the problem. All pages on the site are using MBG Pages header and the relevant pages are not picking the Dream Team Pages header at all.
I'll have another look at the weekend.
I'm not seeing the issue on your site now on the two pages you've linked to. Both pages are acting the same (white logo on transparent background, blue logo on sticky).
Is there a specific page where I can see the issue now?
