[Support request] Different image for thumbnail and page header/featured image

Hi, is it possible to add different image for thumbnail to archive pages and different image for page header/featured image to single post page? Dont need it to every post.

I am using Advanced Custom Fields, if it helps.

Hi there,

Should be possible.

1. Set the featured image in the post.
2. Create a Page Header, and apply it to that post using the Page Header metabox select dropdown.

Solution is good for now but I will have high volume of posts in the future. Is it okay to have dozens of page headers?

Is this possible to do inside the post edit screen. Example by using ACF and Code Snippets?

If this is too complicated, I understand 🙂

Hi there,

Yup you can have as many page headers as you want 🙂

Not sure what you mean by doing it in post edit screen?
Currently you will have to create it in Dashboard > Page Headers and apply them in individual posts. This way it’s possible to reuse the page headers.
