different image each page, split

Hi - am using the "split" template https://staging.crescentgardening.com/ and wondering if it possible to have a different page header for each page?
Hi Ruth,
It's definitely possible.
You just need to create multiple GP Elements of what you use as the Header (You can use either Header Element or Block Element - Page hero).
You then set a different Display rule location for each of GP Element you use so they don't conflict.
Note: Make sure you set a Display rule exclusion on the default GP Element headers that comes with the Site template you've installed for every new GP Element header's display rule location to avoid display rule conflict. :)
Hi Elvin - got it - quite a bit of work but I understand the principle. Thanks
Hi there,
if you use either the Header Element or preferably the Block Element then the content can be dynamic.eg. display the current post title, and set the background to the current post featured image.
This means you can create a single element to be displayed across All Pages or All Post for example. As opposed to manually creating one for each and every page.
See this article on how to create a dynamic page hero:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/
Thanks - am guessing this will work for all themes?
Any site from our library - Yes :)
