[Resolved] Different Background Image for Different Page Hero

Hi GP team!
I have a question about the Elements with type of “Block – Page Hero”. If I want to have a different background image for every page (except homepage), is there some option in this Element. Or I simply disable this site-wide Element, and manually add a container with background image as a page hero for every page?

Hi there,

You can set the Background Image to use the current page Featured Image.

1. Edit the Block Element – Page Hero.
2. Select the Container Block, in the sidebar settings > Enable Dynamic Data and set it to display the Featured Image.

I follow the steps, but find there is a big Featured picture above the page hero. How to make it disappeared?

Hi Yitegele,

That image seems to be the default Featured image.

If it is, go to your Block Element – Page Hero, and toggle on the “Disable featured image” option in the Element Settings.
