All, I really am a newbie so excuse me for the question that might look to easy but I was wondering what is the difference between header and page header?

I encountered this because I try to get my menu bar below the header/page header and I just can’t achieve this.

Maybe some can help me with this.

Thanks in advance for any reply.

My page is not online yet, at the moment I am still working offline on my page.

Header (site header) is the standard area where you would normally find the logo, site title, site description as well as any header widgets. The Navigation can be positioned below this in the Layout > Navigation > Navigation location below header.

PageHeaders are an awesome add-on for GeneratePress and they replace the featured image on a page or post. And as standard they sit below header and navigation.
PageHeaders can be merged with the site Header, so you can have the image behind the navigation and site header.
If you intend to use PageHeaders across your site then i can walk you through that and give you a little CSS code to move the navigation to the bottom of the PageHeader?

    David,

Thanks for your quick reaction. I kept on trying and exploring and indeed I found the difference as you explained above.

If you could sent me some CSS to add a custom font that would also help me a lot. I need the Melanie BT font for my site header but I can not find how to add this font.

    That would be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Marc

There are a few steps to installing your own fonts, they are covered here:
