Despite all settings, still only have one column in search results

I'm using Elementor/Pro as my page builder, with GeneratePress/Premium as my theme. I have a very basic search results page template built in Elementor.

In my theme Customize settings, Layout > Blog, I have ticked the checkbox to "Display posts in columns" and selected 3.

I cleared my cache and disabled my cache plugin. I cleared my browser cache. I did not disable my plugins one-by-one as I don't believe that's an issue.

No matter what, the search results are always just a single item. (Pagination works as it supposed to, though. I can always click to the next item, but that's not the issue)

I can provide login credentials if necessary.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Can you check what's the value you set forBlog pages show at most at settings > reading?

Is it set to 1?

Thanks for the fast reply, Ying! It was indeed set to 1. I changed it to 20 (to pick a number) and I am now seeing multiple results, at least on my phone. I will confirm on my laptop as soon as I can!

Ying, that was it! Thanks so much for your help. I wouldn't have found that setting in a hundred years, or even realized it would affect search results.

Thanks again!

Jeff

You are welcome Jeff :)

Glad it's working now!
