Modifying your site for you is out of the scope of this forum.

You simply need to increase the Bottom Padding of your Header Element as i said above.
You can set it separately for Desktop and Mobile.

Have a look at this I've increased the bottom padding for mobile devices but the image is still not responsive :(

Background images aren't responsive by nature so it's difficult to tweak sometimes - the example you've provided here is using a static image as the featured image:
