Design Question When Linking To A Part Of A Page

When I link to a section of my page I use <a href="#section1">Section 1</a>
Then on section 1 I use <a name="section1"></a>
Is there a way to stop it giving me a massive gap when i put in the a name part?

If you click on "Read Full Review" for v3100 it links to Victor V-3100 Magan Badminton Racket Review – 93g but that bit has a gap above the text if that makes sense.

Any chance you can show us a screenshot of what you're seeing? I'm not seeing a massive gap.
