Defer offscreen images - desktop logo is loading on mobile

Hi,
I am trying to improve my page speed and I am getting this error message in PageSpeed Insights:
Defer offscreen images
But the weird thing is that it shows my desktop logo while I am testing it for mobile. I am using a mobile header (so I have a custom logo for mobiles), but it looks like even then the desktop logo is loading in the background, which isn't good.

Hi there,
aside of lazy loading the logos ( which can have its own issues ) there isn't anything that can be done to change that. Its part of responsive design where desktop and mobile headers are within the site HTML regardless of the device size.
In the grands scheme of things an extra logo image thats not being used is not going to make a great deal of difference to the loading times.
