default title in search widget is unstyled - why ?

If so, this is a WordPress Block. You would need to use custom CSS to style that.

GP has a search functionality which can be enabled through Appearance > Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation.

Thanks for the quick response, Fernando. First off, no I am getting the same scores as you posted. I just wanted to show you how good gp is, haha :).

But, to the question - so it is a wordpress-thing ? But so are the other widgets - Recent posts or Recent Comments ? Why the inconsistency ? Anyways, not a big thing - just weird - I have not seen this in any other theme I believe.

Yes, it’s a WordPress thing. These are default WordPress Blocks.

These widgets have a different structure.

The search label has a <label> tag whereas the other two are <h2>.

By default, there font-size and font weight are different, however you can change this through Dynamic Typography: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-typography-overview/

Side note: If you download free GenerateBlocks plugin, you’ll be to add Blocks which are easily customizable for future use.

Ok. Thanks. I have GenerateBlocks. Not sure I fully understand how to use it properly yet. It does not seem intuitive enough yet. I just saw the Dynamic Block and know that WP Show Posts is coming up next. I will have a look.
