Default GP Footer

Hello,
Please check the below screenshot.
I created the footer in the element section using block. But still, the default footer is not getting removed.
Actually, I'm not able to memorize how it will get removed. Earlier I had done that on a few of my other sites.

Did you make sure to select Site Footer for the block type?
Hi Dev,
What hook are you using for the block element?
Make sure you choose site_footer as block type if you want the footer block replace the default footer.
